Decent but not great. I do like the premise of this series which is a meld of the fantasy and fairy tale - this one was loosely based on Sleeping Beauty. However, I found that there were threads in this book that were not followed through and plot lines which seemed to peter out.
This was read as my #doublespin for #bookspin for December.

While the MC is not my favorite, the descriptions of the life style in this book are some of my favorite. I get frustrated that the MC is so naive and full of herself, but I appreciate that the author lets her be that way and acknowledges it. A fun and relaxing retelling of sleeping beauty set in the early Edwardian period in England. 3.5/5, fun to read, good descriptions of fashion, industry, and psychological treatment of the era.
