I'm getting pretty lucky in 2017 with all these good books! This is the story of a woman who was imprisoned in Iran for supposed espionage. It paints a disturbing picture of Iran but also shows a lot of its beauty. Particularly through her friendships with her prison mates which really displays a diversity of Iranian cultural mindset.

#TBRtemptation post! This one was just returned to the library. This sounds like a *really* good book! Anyone read it yet? I prefer memoirs on audiobook that are read by the author, so this one is going on my TBR right aboout...now. 😉👍🏻 #blameLitsy #blameMrBook 😎

AndjoSant Roxana Saberi is a half Japanese half Iranian US citizen, former Miss North Dakota & Top 10 in Miss America, who while working as a journalist in Iran was imprisoned on charges of espionage. Sounds like 5 lives lived right there. Should be a fascinating read. 8y

riversong153 I'd be interested in hearing more about it. I heard her speak and I didn't like her presentation style so I didn't read the book. 8y
