Arrghhh, that ending! I still have so many questions! I badly want the second trilogy, and the linking book, but it looks like they're all out of print and super expensive. Where's a fairy godmother when you need one?

I loved this one a tiny bit less because it's so inconclusive, but it's a great trilogy.

I've been remiss in posting recently. I read these books earlier this year and loved them both. These two plus Sabine & Griffin (which I read about 3 months ago) are interesting if you like epistolary novels. Eventually, I'll read more of Nick Bantock's books, probably later this year.

BarbaraTheBibliophage I loooooove Nick Bantock books!! 5y
MaGoose @BarbaraTheBibliophage Have you read any others besides the ones I mentioned? If so, which ones did you like the best? 5y
BarbaraTheBibliophage I‘ve also read The Venetian‘s Wife and The Forgetting Room. I‘d have to look at all of them to choose a favorite. Right now, all of them are packed away. I had to box them while our son stayed with us. Although he‘s back in his own place, I haven‘t unboxed the books for that room. 5y
MaGoose @BarbaraTheBibliophage Thanks for the info. 5y

So it took me over 17 hours to finish my first book and less than an hour to finish the second. This is third in trilogy of Griffin and Sabine. There is a mysterious stranger on the island of Katie and Sabine is losing her vision of Griffin‘s artwork. Will they ever find each other?!? Loved this serious, moving on to the next trilogy soon which contains a rediscovering of their correspondence. #24in48

So glad I'm rereading these before the new one. Such a unique series.
