Pickpick

Like Grimes‘s “Jazmin‘s Notebook,” The Road to Paris tells the story of a young girl in foster care, drawing heavily on the author‘s own life experiences, as written in her memoir “Ordinary Hazards.” These books could offer a ray of hope to young people experiencing foster care or a parent with addiction or mental health issues.

I finally received my books from the Bookoutlet Thanksgiving weekend sale. I'm trying to read more YA and Children's fiction in 2017. Road to Paris and Silhouetted By the Blue were my two I decided on out of like 5 or 6.
