Very Victorian and not much of a ghost story. I like good Victorian tales but this was just...meh. Enjoying the serial reading with other littens, though! #Spirited

The next to last issue did me in, and I bought the version of @SerialReader that allows you to read ahead! 😄 This was a great little novella, perfect around this time of year, that I never would have read if not for @Litsy ! Now, I think, more Louisa May Alcott needs to be on my radar for 2017.... 🤔 #spirited

It's a ghost! No it isn't! Yes it is! Etc. And a party. Not Alcott's best work but a quick diversion.

What a fun, cozy Christmas read. It was definitely predictable, but I wasn't really interested in the mystery part anyway. I am for sure making everyone tell ghost stories around the fire at my annual New Year's Eve party! #spirited
