Happy National Communicate With Kids Day!
These books from the #LittleFeministBookClub are great for communicating love and pride to children.
I earned them for my first grade class for free because people used my code GOODWIN5OFF when signing up for a subscription. It saves you $5.

As we read this last night, it occurred to me in a “duh” moment, that in all 3 of Virginia Burton‘s books we own the MC is personified as a capable & strong female. Yay for Virginia who wrote them in the 30s & 40s! 👏🏾👏🏾

Louise That's awesome! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 7y
Leftcoastzen I love Burton‘s books. The Little House is my all time favorite picture book though I was kinda rooting for the house to tough it out in the city. 7y

It's so cold here that there's no school today, so the great bookshelf reorganization has begun.

More Thursday. I found this at the used book store this week. I love this story of helping others and selflessness. Beautiful illustrations. It's about a truck, how can you lose.
