Really poignant quote that hits home a problem with religious extremism of any variety. This phrase says freedom is almost inherent in any religious ideology, otherwise it is no longer a matter of faith but one of oppression. Lots to chew on in this phrase.

Finishing it first though. 😬😂 Restarted this last night and it's moving quickly thankfully. It's an inner look at jihadist radicalization, really fascinating. Told from the perspective of a friend who believes she accidentally helped radicalize her friend who committed an attack. Chilling, really.

Settling in for the night after getting back from tiki drinks with friends! So psyched to have found this at the library earlier. It's a story about Islamic radicalization from the inside & I would love to learn more about this area. #diversebooks
