Starting this one next. Humorous mystery.

The_Book_Ninja There‘s a 70s film with the same name. I‘ve not seen it but I have the soundtrack. Wonder if it‘s the same story 12mo
Blueberry Just looked it up and it is the same. The 9th in the series is a movie also.. I wonder if many more are? 12mo

I heard these were fun, and the first one is short, so I‘m starting this tonight.

Pickpick

An article on Tor.com ages ago sang the praises of the Dortmunder books, and I thought “Hey, I like a good caper!” so I put the first one on my Kindle and forgot about it for awhile.

I‘m glad I finally started it, because I had a lot of fun. It is basically a Cozy Heist novel. Professional criminal Dortmunder is hired to swipe the Balabomo Emerald. Comic complications ensue. That‘s it, but that was enough.

A fun caper novel that is darker than the movie.
