This was like reading a speed run, there was no depth and no details.
Very disappointing

This author is also a screenwriter and that comes through in all his books. Last year I read all of his Eve Ronin series, and this one features different characters in the same Malibu setting. I still prefer Eve as an MC, but this one was fun too.
I wanted to love this: Team of diverse girls staging a HEIST of a jewel-encrusted book aboard the Titanic. What's not to love?
Unfortunately, the leader Josefa has an irritating backstory (running away to thieve because a life of material comfort is too confining) and we don't spend enough time with the other girls to really round out their motivations or relationships with one another as they rush aboard and the countdown to sinking begins. ⬇️
Thieves Gambit follows Rosalyn ‘Ross‘ Quest, a 17-year-old highly skilled thief. This story hits the ground running and takes the reader on a wild ride filled with twists, turns, high stakes heists, danger, tentative alliances, betrayal and exotic locations. It has a very cinematic feel to it. Thieves Gambit is a fast-paced, fun, entertaining, thrilling read. I definitely burned the midnight oil with this one. I can't wait for the sequel.
This is twisty heist action for the teen set. I don't appreciate—but completely understand—the cliffhanger ending. Rights were sold for two books, though the second doesn't seem to have a title or publication date yet.
A lovely light romp of a book - a historical heist that doesnt require much thought, but kept me amused - and thats high praise with my scattered thoughts at the moment!
Interesting, exciting, well written. Enjoyed the science themes and knowledge along with the criminal thrill. Great story, can't make something like that up (which it happens to be based on true events).
