🎧 2nd book in the series so I made sure to read the summary. Interesting. So I thought that Dr Wu was a bit unlikable maybe just to amp up the book drama but she was a bit odd. Finney was a great bad guy. Sebastian was just the right amount of dumb bad guy and sentimental good guy. Spencer was a bit dumb as a puppy dog doctor x-bf. I loved the Delores & mind control story line! Good medical thriller! Thank you HOOPLA! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/4

New author for me. Hoping this is as terrifying and captivating as the review claims it to be 😮

Goal completed! This book has suspense and action, which I wanted. But, the pacing was weird. And thank goodness I'm a nurse's kid, or I would have struggled with the medical terms.

My goal today is to finish this.

This is starting out to be intriguing and suspenseful. I'm excited to spend the day curled up on the couch reading. Yay for spring break!

Just started an advance copy of this. I read 50 pages and the writing seems a little stilted, but now I'm drawn into the story and need to see what happens! Has anyone read her first book? (Doing Harm).
