Not bad for a quick read

Settling on a so-so, but verging on a pan. I wanted a quick audio and pulled this one off my shelf. I apparently have not read any Iris Johansen before, and honestly wasn‘t overly impressed. Too cliche‘d, too predictable, too meh.

Been stopped on the interstate for 30 mins so far due to slide-offs earlier this morning. Guess I‘m gonna be late for the conference I‘m supposed to attend. At least I‘ve got an audiobook!

The book is great read, and if you are a voracious reader, you could complete it in a night!
The book starts with the collapse of Arapahoe Dam, which was perceived as a result of an earthquake. Alex Graham, a photojournalist tries to dig deep that could kill her. Judd Morgan, an ex-covert, is assigned to protect her. The revelations and chasing by the enemies cover the rest of the plot. The villains aren't powerful enough to balance the story tho.
