Mehso-so

The storyline sucked. Honestly. After closing the book I thought, "what have I just read?". But the three main characters' teenage rage and struggle were so real. That's one thing that pushed me forward to the end.

It was told in 3 POVs using first, second and third person sentences which was weird. And sloppy. But once in a while there was a hidden gem in those paragraphs, like a standpoint about racism I could agree. So, 2.5 stars. #LitsyAtoZ

pppooraikul @RiotMom @BookishMarginalia No problem guys! I'll look forward to your reviews on the X book on your #LitsyAtoZ list. 😉 8y
LiteraryinPA I haven't found an X book for my challenge yet, but it sounds like this one isn't it. Thanks for the review! 8y
pppooraikul @LiteraryinLititz You're welcome. ☺ But it wasn't too bad a choice if you run out of option. 😉 8y

Since I'm traveling and didn't bring my current read (The Green Mile) with me, I decided to look up a TBR for #LitsyAtoZ. It's not an easy task, finding a book that begins with X that I'd like to read judging by synopsis and some reviews. (I tend to read YA and fantasy more than other genres.) I went through some goodreads list and other sites as well and found this one.

Have anyone read this book? Is it good?

RiotMom I don't know anything about it, but it sounds better than the X book I found. If you end up reading it, I'll look forward to hearing your thoughts! 8y
