I did the book & tea thing with my daily short story. Sarah Monette, who also writes as Katherine Addison, is my favourite author and I‘m so glad I decided to revisit her second short fiction collection this month. Even her flash pieces pack such a wallop.

pickNever could I have imagined loving short stories as much as I loved the ones in this collection! ❤❤❤❤ Out of 25, there were maaaaybe two I didn't love. I kept wanting to share parts of them with you all on Litsy, but I could never decide on single passages or quotes. Each story in its entirety and the many characters and imaginings are what really captured me. HIGHLY recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I only have morning class on Tuesdays so I get to come home for a relaxing #bookandlunch 😊This food probably looks pretty gross in the picture haha but it's polenta, smoked paprika chickpeas, and grape tomatoes with a basil garlic sauce. SOOO delicious! It's from a cookbook, not my invention lol.
I'm slowly making my way through this collection of short stories! It's going to be my short story collection by a woman for the #readharder challenge. I usually find it hard to connect to short stories, but I've really enjoyed all of these so far! 😊#currentlyreading
