@SilversReviews This is what it looked like last night.

I'm sitting out here in a chair that used to belong to my great-grandfather, pic on the right. The varnish is still the same, I added a more lower back friendly cushion.

There's tea, which is cooling too fast, my cat on my lap, a book. I'm considering going back inside for a hoodie.

SilversReviews Love it. Thanks for sharing. Beautiful chair. (edited) 6y
julesG @SilversReviews I only forgot to leave my footstool on the balcony. Will have to show it off another time, it was handcrafted by my father's stepfather and I've had it since I was 3 or 4 years old. 6y
SilversReviews @julesG Yes. Please share. Thanks. I'm sure it is gorgeous. 6y

@SilversReviews the promised before and after.

Had I known that Sunday was to dawn with more than 10°C less than Saturday, I'd have done the shifting of furniture and so on today.

Removed the green carpet, got rid of clutter and near dead plants. It still needs a thorough clean but I was exhausted last night and wanted to enjoy my new balcony.

I took a picture last night. Will share it next.

MinDea That looks awesome! Great job! 6y

It's that time of year when I deeply regret not planting anything during spring. But let's be honest. Every single plant I've tried to grow has ended up dead. (Except for a large succulent Mum gave me as a housewarming present, and only because she took it back.) I've even killed a bamboo plant THAT DID NOT REQUIRE SOIL. But I remain ever hopeful, and these books will not be culled today. #nonfiction #gardening #aww2017
