I had forgotten how much i enjoy iain banks writing so reading this for rdg grp (with daisy Jones) was a joy. Dan Weir songwriter and bassist in a 70s mega band but is back in Glasgow drinking and reflecting on loss and love.Told with comedy and affection for his characters I was immersed in the world and an interesting contrast with DJ. As i slowly work thu his books i realise he is a favourite writer who i didn't appreciate when he was alive.
