This has been my least favorite Diane Chamberlain book so far. I really enjoyed this (and was glued to the book), but there was too much going on in this one book for me. Still, Diane has a way with keeping you hooked by ending each chapter wanting to read more.

I‘m really good at figuring things out and this was no exception, however, it did keep me second guessing at times.

Crazeedi I enjoy books about midwives so I'm going to have to check this out 4y

To me the book was confusing with all the twists and plots. It was okay but several times I had to go back and reread a few paragraphs just to remind me what character I was reading about. Also just when you think you have the plot figured out the author throws in a new twist so the last few chapters is what kept me wanting to read just so I could see how everything turned out. It just goes to show you never know what someone is going through.

Crazeedi I just had a book by this author I started and then returned. Her writing just didnt catch me, maybe it's just me right now, but interesting to hear you say this 5y
