Pickpick

So. Four chapters, four perspectives: the writer, the editor, the critics and the reader (getting Breakfast Club vibes!) I didn't really get it until some pages into The Editor. Then I was gobsmacked. This is seriously brilliant. The writing journey start to finish. The role if The Novel in readership. I've actually underlined sections... I never do that. I keep reading aloud to anyone who listens!!!

#TBRtemptation post 5! Lukas Yoder, a novelist with a long, successful career, feels he's written his final book, until tragedy strikes and he's compelled to write of it. His editor must fight against a corporate takeover. A critic struggles with Yoder's success and his own ambitions. A devoted reader helps solve the tragedy. What a group! #blameLitsy #blameMrBook 😎

Day 3 #mostreread #feistyfeb I do enjoy rereading books, but here are three of my favourites. Ace seems to like them, too! Ace, you photobomber you! I also like to reread Rebecca as well as Jane Eyre.

Tanner Oh, and Persuasion. How could I forget about Persuasion‽ 8y
ScorpioBookDreams How is Ace doing? Xx 8y
emtobiasz Ace!! 😍 8y
Tanner @ScorpioBookDreams Ace is doing well. The results of the tumour itself were good; it was the lowest grade. They had removed a nearby lymph node too and unfortunately they did find a few mast cells in it, so then the decision was to do chemo or not. I eventually decided no chemo for now and we're just keeping an eye on him. He's doing great, lots of energy, no other bad lumps. Thank you for thinking of us! 💕 8y
Tanner @emtobiasz And Olive looks like a sweetie! Aren't beagles the best‽ ❤🐶 8y
