More Milly-Molly-Mandy | 
Rereading this recent purchase - a new edition of my favourite childhood book. I think one reason why Milly Molly Mandy appealed to me so much is that everybody in her family is shown as important - here Brisley lists each family members jobs - and the whole family treats MMM as important too. Although they‘re simple little stories, I think this idea of everybody playing an equal part really appealed to me as a child.

Jeg First books I read when I arrived in Australia in the late 50s . Loved them. So glad they are still around. 4y
