#12daysofchristmas day 4 - calling birds. I immediately thought of the Celta series for this prompt. One of my go-to #romantsy series (sci-fi), the people have psychic abilities of varying degrees so the leads in these books are often literally calling out mentally to each other. Picked this book just cause the back blurb mentions Glyssa seeking her partner, I can't actually remember too much about this one - time for a reread!

EloisaJames I like these books, but I never love them. They‘re oddly dispassionate, if that makes sense. What‘s your favorite in the series? I‘m 3 behind and trying to decide whether to catch up. 7y

llwheeler @EloisaJames I fully admit I'm biased with these books - they were my first discovery of a subgenre of romance other than historical. I think I love the worldbuilding best, so my favourites are ones that expand the world - ones with the Healing Grove, or the Turquoise House, for example. 7y
EloisaJames @llwheeler I liked the Healing Grove very much too. I also like the animal friends. 7y
