I‘m glad I had the audio version. Very good storyline.
Total brain candy - this is the first in the Brides of Wishmore series, set in Scotland. I purposely chose this series because of the narrator (I‘m enjoying Mary Jane Wells‘ narrations). While it seemed a bit formulaic - I knew where this story was going right away without reading the synopsis - I still enjoyed the journey getting there. On to Book Two!
This is such a mixed bag. I liked the characters a lot, but the plot was a bit of a mess, and I felt like there was a lot of focus on people who weren't the main couple. I don't really enjoy the love triangle trope and this was pretty much a love pentagon. I want to read the next book to see what happens to the characters though.
I love coloring and listening to audiobooks! I didn't discover this until about 6 months ago----and of course, I got it from Litsy! Now, it's my go-to stress reliever from schoolwork, kids, and husband.🎧 #lovetolisten #17booklove
