The minutes fly, the music ends, And so, good-bye to our new friends. But when they've bowed and left the floor, If we clap loud and shout, “ Encore!“ They may come out and play once more.
A delight to read, the combo of illustrations and rhyming verses really being the music and the book to life.
Picturebook. Zin Zin Zin a Violin is beautiful book from cover to cover. The story and the illustrations flow perfectly together. The use of rhyme in this book almost gives the book a rhythm to which the music would be playing. The illustrations also give the book an eb and flow that really makes you feel like you are a part of the concert from the story.
“With steely keys that softly click, its breezy notes so darkly slick, a sleek, black woody CLARINET is number SEVEN- now SEPTET
This book is so fun to read! The way the words are written on the page mimics the way music sounds, going up and down and in squiggles. The illustrations are very fun and so colorful.
This picture book won the Caldecott award! Marjorie Priceman does an amazing illustration of the components of an orchestra and a diverse group of instruments. Along the way, children learn vocabulary from solo, all the way up to chamber. I was impressed by the illustrations! I also found a SUPER fun music lesson I'd love to use in my classroom. :) #UCFLAE3414sp17 http://makingmusicfun.net/htm/f_mmf_music_library/zin_zin_zin_instrument_id.htm
