Bailedbailed

The hero was too whiny for my liking. He was so immature. His inability to connect with his daughter is a definite turn off. I would't know if he had finally connected with her because I had bailed on the book before the book was even done. The romance element sucked too.

Mehso-so

Liked this less than I had hoped. I 😍 movie star romance but the characterizations didn‘t match the action, maybe due to 2 alternating 1st person povs, with each chapter flipping. But I was unsure of the character only based on voice. The showing undercut the telling & the toddler for whom the hero hired the heroine felt like a prop. The love scenes were sexy-absurd & the hero‘s disability seemed like a short cut to character building #romantsy

I read this because of @LaurenReads recc'd it here--another #thankstoLitsy! I really enjoyed it. There are details about nannies in Hollywood (Hollywood actor/secret baby/nanny romance), but I found the philosophy more interesting. Why do actors always fall in love with nannies? Anyway, a sweet sexy romance and a super smart nanny who didn't take shit from her superstar boss! #romantsy #contemporaryromance. #hollywood #secretbaby

I enjoyed this one way more than I expected! Single famous dad, surprised with a 5 year old daughter he didn't know existed. A sexy, paparazzi-shy nanny. A relationship develops, but this book made it more than a cliche. It was sweet and funny. #romantsy #contemporaryromance #kindleunlimited

I'm actually surprised by how charmed I was by this book, as I typically avoid romances with single parent characters. The children often lend nothing to the story, but this wasn't the case with BOMBSHELL. It's a slow burn romance with an intelligent nanny, who hates the limelight, and an A-list actor hero's struggle to adapt to fatherhood. A great contemporary romance about found families. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4 stars)

JayneChanger Excited for this one. I loved shuttergirl. 7y
ImAnAdult @JayneChanger This is the first book I've read by Reiss, but it has me wanting to dive into her backlist. 7y

Day 16 of #Riotgrams: Bookmarks. I'm one of those readers who just uses scraps of paper as a bookmark, but I fell in love with these pineapple paper clips in a Michael's craft store bargain bin.

Also, I'm loving this book by a new to me author. It's a romance that opens with a screaming child covered in poop. 💩
