Leider blieb der dritte Teil eher blass und ohne richtige Spannung. Das Goldene Garn spielte nur eine kleine Bedeutung, eigentlich reisten alle die ganze Zeit nur durch irgendwelche kargen Landschaften. Für die Magie der russischen Märchen war da nur wenig Platz.

So this is the third book in the Reckless series by Cornelia Funke and it was definitely not as good as the first two. Especially at the beginning it dragged on and took forever to finally build some kind of interesting story. Only the last 100+ pages were as magical and enchanting as the previous books.
