I‘m always impressed with authors who can write so well & tell such a good story, fiction or nonfiction, that at the end you don‘t much care the person (or characters) they were writing about wasn‘t all that nice or particularly likable. Fleming‘s biography of Barnum tells the history of a fascinating man who was undoubtedly a great showman/salesmen but who often had a loose relationship with the truth & ethics. An interesting, eye-opening book.
