Just arrived on the Ile de Ré, unpacked and headed out for a walk to the supermarché. This is the first thing I felt compelled to take a photo of - I wonder why!? It‘s fastened to the inside of one of the huge gates in the walls surrounding the village. ?? ❤️

jhod Just landed at Stansted, am so jealous!! Have a brill time - the weather looks fab! I had one last sea swim today before our flight. Will definitely be back! But... I didn't see any donkeys with cullottes on! Lots of stuffed animals but no real ones! Enjoy! X 6y
squirrelbrain Thanks @TrishB @ManyWordsLater and @youneverarrived ! Sorry to be replacing you on the island @jhod ! We walked past a field today with a sign that said ‘Don‘t feed the donkeys‘, but there weren‘t any donkeys! Maybe they‘ve gone on their holidays after a busy summer! 6y
