Gods and god borne, mages that walk the path of Time, demon kin and hunt brothers. This book was confusing at the beginning but not in a way that was daunting. By the end of the book I was pretty comfortable with the World and the people and was immersed in it. Looking forward to the second half

This is one of those fantasy books that you can‘t just breeze through, I‘m taking my time and learning the world. I‘m nearly half-way finished with it and I‘m starting to really love it. I‘m excited to have a new epic fantasy world to immerse myself in. I believe the Sacred Hunt duology are the first to be set in the Essalieyan universe and are followed by the Sun Sword series, which I‘m also really excited to dive into!

is it just me or are the guys on this cover modeled after Jason Patric and Kiefer Sutherland from the movie The Lost Boys? right?? 😂 i can‘t be the only one who sees it ...

@Andrew65 tagged me for #top10authorrecommendations, buuuuuut I just realized I only listed nine people whose work I often push and I don't wanna start this post over. So, um, is nine okay? (Number Ten should've been Robin Hobb.) I aimed for lots of Canadian writers, with two mangaka in the mix because I urge every sighted person to try my two favourite manga series.
