Why does ALL the #bookmail come on the same day? I'm really excited to receive my first print ARC - Insight: why we're not as self-aware as we think we are. Thanks #bloggingforbooks !

Mehso-so

This book purports to be about how to develop self awareness and I requested it looking for a personal growth book. There were some small nuggets in the first few chapters that were interesting but the vast majority of the book was corporate focused and was primarily anecdotes about the author's work as a management coach. Takeaway was to get 360 evaluation for managers. Last chapter has some good ideas about dealing with self delusional folks.

Just bailed on my current audiobook, so also looking for a new one. Or, it may be a podcast sort of week! Have a great reading week, everyone!!!

KCorter I just read American Born Chinese a few weeks ago, and it was excellent! You also can't go wrong with anything by Agatha Christie. :) 8y
PNWBookseller85 I also loved American Born Chinese. I think I finished it in a hour. It's a quick read. 8y
