Not my favorite Lis Scottoline book but still worth a listen like all her books!

Marta defended her client in the case of him murdering a homeless man and pleaded with the jury for an innocent verdict but when the jurors begin deliberations she learns her client is not as innocent as she one thought.

Once again, set in Philadelphia, and I loved all the references to the city!

I continue to be amazed at Lisa Scottoline‘s legal thrillers. So fast paced and full of suspense. In this one, a defense lawyer learns her client is guilty of murder and must figure out a way to get justice. I‘m devouring this series!
