pickI really enjoyed the first volume. I've wanted to read this for ages after watching bits and pieces of the show. It is very different from the show and I think much better.
Guo Changcheng was definitely my favourite. I related to him so much.
There was mystery, mythology, pining, and longing looks, all the good stuff.

so-soI don‘t get the big deal about this book. It started off well but then it dragged. The premise is great though, and weirdly, I wanted Raskolnikov to get away with it! 😂 I didn‘t totally hate this book but I didn‘t love it either. I am glad to say that now I‘ve read this classic!

The first book I read this year is The Woman in Cabin 10. I had it on my shelf for a long time and finally decided to read it. I was immediately sucked into the story. With every chapter I was more surprised. I really did not see it coming. Especially not this ending. It was really quite a surprise. However, the story is missing a little something to give it a fifth star.

pickThis book was amazing. And I read it after returning from MD so reading icky things about their history made my head explode a tiny bit. I picked this for my IRL book club NF reads (not a democracy) based on feedback from @TheBookHippie and she was right about how great this book is. Highly recommend.

pickFuzz is yet another entertaining book by Mary Roach. This one explores how humans react when nature and civilization collide. As you can probably guess, things typically don‘t go well for the animals. Among the parts I most enjoyed was the inclusion of the book‘s footnotes, which is rare for an audiobook. This was fun even if I don‘t love it as much as her earliest works, Stiff and Spook.
