This book is a classic for children, I feel like everyone I know has read it. The illustrations within the book were really cute and bright so I think children would really love looking through all of them

This TL book is about little pigs who all build their homes out of different material. The big bad wolf tries to blow down their homes and succeeds until the last little pig outsmarts him. I think this would be a great book to assign roles and turn it into a RT and have child perform it. This website has many activities but I think the best one is having children construct their own homes like in the story. I believe UDL strategy 4.1 (vary the....

DrSpalding This makes for a very fun readers theater! There‘s that plush pig again. Traditional literature stories should be shared with very young children and then the variants can be shared to compare and contrast later on. 5y

Three chubby siblings join forces to evict an uninvited house guest, with murderous results. I am coming to the conclusion that the majority of children‘s books are not really suitable for children...🤨😋

Me: "Hey kid, you gonna read all those books?"
Kid: "I will. I'm just looking through them now to see which one is the best."

The Three Little Pigs retold by Kath Jewitt is a great TL book to read to younger students! This is a great book to story tell as well as incorporate into the classroom! I remember reading this as a younger child with my parents! Below is a link to an activity that can be used in centers: https://www.kidssoup.com/activity/three-little-pigs-activities-crafts-lessons-ga... #UCFLAE3414sp17

HayleeM I love the story of the three little pigs! Such a classic. It would be great to read The True Story of the Three Little Pigs after to compare them and to teach different perspectives. 8y
