pickThis is an amazing, well written book! I just reread it and remembered why I enjoyed it so much. Ender is a true prodigy, and that makes him a tool to help humanity. He‘s taken into space to become a soldier; or even a officer. And this was at the young age of six! His life spirals from there, facing all kinds of obstacles. pickThis was a really beautiful book, all five stars. It wasn‘t what I usually go for, not being high fantasy, but it was still amazing. It was beautifully written and I got more than a bit emotional in the second to last chapter. The characters, the metaphors, EVERYTHING, was perfectly written and created. pickI enjoyed this story! I really did! I wish there was an option between ‘so-so‘ and ‘pick‘, but I chose ‘pick‘ out of the two. There was a great plot, with exciting twists and exciting new characters. You discovered Caw and what he valued deep down, but didn‘t think too much of. It was beautiful, a story of sacrifice and secrets. My only problem was one plot twist being too obvious, and I wanted thoroughly to yell at the characters 😝

pickThese books are an extremely easy read, but the plot is amazingly crafted, and get read for HUGE plot twists and surprises!! There are extreme surprises in these, so you would need to be ready for anything! 😃

Me attempting to draw Thranduil from the hobbit... 😆 not the best drawing I‘ve seen but compared to my usual, it came out great! (In the book The Hobbit Thranduil isn‘t mentioned much, you don‘t even get his name. He is referred to as the ‘elvenking‘ or elf king. His name is mentioned when Legolas, his son, is introduced as ‘son of Thranduil, aka Thranduilion if you know elvish! 😄) The movies actually explain him better, surprisingly!
I‘ve always preferred elvish lands, but Gondor is still pretty cool, I guess... and I love the one white tree! Treeeeeees for life! (Don‘t worry, Treebeard, ents are still my favorites!)
