Today is a good day! Had such a lovely time in work with colleagues and children, so nice to see different people, our Head even cooked us lunch 😊 Now sat in the garden enjoying the sun with a g&t and a good book🍸📚☀️

TrishB I can imagine that bit of normality is very nice. All good here, just trying to pretend it‘s a normal Easter weekend! Easter Eggs and roast dinner and wine 🍷 5y

Caldecott award winner, A Good Day by Kevin Henkes, is a great (RF) book for grades K-1. This book does a fabulous job illustrating just how easily a bad day can be turned into a good day based on perspective. This book would be excellent for a (RA) guided by the lesson plan found at https://www.iowanationalguard.com/Family%20and%20Services/Youth%20Programs/Docum... followed by (RT).

juliette_kathleen The initial use of the RA will enforce comprehension through guided questions as advised in UDL principle 3.3. The follow up of RT will then optimize relevance, value, and authenticity for the students as suggested in UDL 7.2. The implementation of RT will support EL 50 as the students will have the chance to role play. Overall this book has a great message and I intend to use this book to help my students focus on the positives. #UCFLAE3414SP18 7y
