pickFinished reading the nordic noir in the lovely bright sunshine this Sunday afternoon. This is the first of a series featuring Peter Boutrup, recently released from prison for killing the man who killed his dog- I approve! This one has a gang war between men and women, the mystery of a plane crash and the search for a missing stash. I enjoyed the characters and the investigation was described on 3 fronts- police, civilian and mother. Good read!

Elsebeth Egholm is the Danish Queen of Crime (or so I have heard, I haven't read her books). She primarily writes books set in Jutland, which is the part of Denmark where I live, and a lot of her books are set in Aarhus, which is the city I live in and the "capitol" of Jutland. #takesplacenearme ?
