I still can't decide what genre this ends up in. It's really quite strange - because it's very readable in a way, but sort of defies categorisation. What I can say though is that I don't particularly like any of the three main characters in this, and that it takes a bit of a turn at the halfway point. Well written and clever, but odd.

Yep, I‘ve been at work for 45 minutes and this is me. I think I‘m going to put on some tunes, pull something up on the computer so I look busy, drink my tea and read. Hopefully deliveries that were supposed to be made will show up, and no one will call me because I‘m at the breaking point.

CocoReads Thanks. My BIL works there and he says the job is still open. With all these extra hoops to jump through I can see why. But if I can get the interview, he thinks the job is mine. 7y

CocoReads It did-I went to the library and then had an adult beverage and some writing time. Now, if I get to work tomorrow and the water still hasn‘t been delivered, I‘m gonna rip someone a new one (it was supposed to come a week ago). 7y
