This is riiiiiiight on the edge between a Pick and a So-So. At first, I wasn't sure about the tone, which is a lot cattier than the other, more recent, Jenny Colgan novels I've read, but the story soon resolved itself into something fun, funny, and well-observed (albeit still catty). Once the plot kicked in, though, my interest took a nose dive and I finished the book less satisfied than I might've hoped. #caseyplusbooks
