New books that I got for Christmas. 🎄📚

I never thought that I would of enjoyed reading mangas like I do. This series is a fun, funny, romantic, comedy story. I like the art. It's cheesy but I enjoy reading them.
I read volume 1, 2, 3 and 4 in one day.

It's been a while since I've picked up a manga. I've already read the first three and, so far, I'm enjoying it. If I was a teenager, I would be obsessed. The art is lovely and the characters are fun. A bit over dramatic, but that is expected. The only thing I have a problem with is the budding romance. I'm not having it. Lol. 4 out of 5....so far.

This was so funny & sweet!! I love the characters so much. But I must confess this volume made me cry. My best friend was a guy named Zen. He loved pandas & had crazy ass bed head, just like the Zen in this manga. It brought up so many of the bestest memories. I miss him so dearly & wish he was alive to read this. This manga is gonna be suuuper special for me, I just know it. 🖤 4.25/5

Book one of vacation has been completed! .
I absolutely loved ORANGE by Ichigo Takano, so I had to pick up the first volume of DREAMIN' SUN. So far it's a cute story, but not quite as awesome as ORANGE. I'm interested to see where the story goes.

Dreamin' Sun has a pretty tropey, silly set-up, with Shimana running away because she's feeling neglected at home. She's very apparently immature, and its hard to believe that any parent would allow their teenage daughter to live alone with a bunch of men. But beyond that stretch of reality, its a really cute high-school story with fun characters and great humor.

Its hard to recommend at the moment, but I'm cautiously optimistic.

Taking a break from dark sci-fi and binging on some cute titles 😋🤓
