Seven To Eternity Vol. 1
Seven To Eternity Vol. 1 | Rick Remender
7 posts | 6 read | 6 to read
The God of Whispers has spread an omnipresent paranoia to every corner of the kingdom of Zhal; his spies hide in every hall spreading mistrust and fear. Adam Osidis, a dying knight from a disgraced house, must choose between joining a hopeless band of magic users in their desperate bid to free their world of the evil God, or accepting his promise to give Adam everything his heart desires. Writer RICK REMENDER reteams with collaborators JEROME OPEA (Uncanny X-Force, Fear Agent) and MATT HOLLINGSWORTH (TOKYO GHOST, WYTCHES) to take you on a hard road through the strange fantasy world of Zhal. All men have surrendered their freedom for fear, and now one last free man must choose. Collects SEVEN TO ETERNITY #1-4.

Seven to Eternity combines fantasy and Western elements in a story reminiscent of 3:10 to Yuma. A small group of Mosaks strive to free the land from the Mud King, but the catch is they can't kill him without also killing everyone who has accepted his Faustian bargain. The themes of tyranny, misinformation, and xenophobia are drawn from the Trump era.

#2018Book128
The story in this graphic novel felt a little repetitive after a while, but the artwork is some of the best I've seen lately. However, the main villain kind of looked like a blue version of a Ninja Turtle, so that pulled me out of it a little. But for this most part, I was really into this one.

GrilledCheeseSamurai Blue ninja turtle. 😂. I really dig this series! 👍 5y

The God of whispers, Aka, The Mud King. He offers you your hearts desires...but is it worth the cost?

This dude is a serious villain and I am happy to report that this comic is friggen AWESOME! It's so dense and epic and...wow.

Seriously though - refuse to listen to the Mud Kings offer. You're pretty much fucked once you hear it. ☠️

It's time. I've really been looking forward to these. I foolishly didn't add them to my pull list as they were released and have been patiently waiting for a deluxe hardcover collection but since they haven't released that yet I'ma read it digitally.

I sure hope I haven't built it up to much cuz I really want to LOVE this series. 🤞🤞

I finally had time to start reading some of my #geekygraphicnovelswap books. Seven To Eternity is good. It has a fairly original plot, good character design, and solid writing. A dying knight from a disgraced house has to decide between vengeance by helping a small band of heroes take down the God of Whispers, or getting his heart's desire by helping the God of Whispers.(The God of Whispers is a jerk) I'll have to get volume 2 soon. Really soon.

This comic is a little hard to get into, but it's a pretty cool world. I'll hang in there to see where it's going 👌
