@vkois88 I am without words! These are getting there own picture because you made them and they are gorgeous!!! The Wonder Woman cross stitch is beautiful. The framing of it is beautiful!!!!! I‘m pretty sure you turned these pins into bookmark magnets right??? And you made the beaded keychain which matches the Wonder Woman colors!!!! The way you put all the themes together is just blowing me away!!!!! I‘m speechless! #MakerSwap

CSeydel Omg you guys, I simultaneously love seeing everyone‘s swap gifts but also feel like a lousy swap partner after seeing these amazing items! Ughhh (edited) 6y
vkois88 So I turned the pins into Needle minders for when you are working on your cross stitch and need a place to put your needle (or scissors!) while you switch colors, etc. The beaded thing in the box is a scissors fob that you can attach to the scissors I sent. That way they are a little more noticeable if you set them down somewhere and need help finding them 😊😊 I tried to hand make as much as I could for authenticity. And, of course stick to ⬇ 6y
vkois88 The themes of both Wonder Woman and cross stitch! I stitched Wonder Woman, cut the mat, pinned, and framed her for you ❤ 6y

BookaholicNatty @CSeydel don‘t feel like that!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone has different talents and everyone does different stuff it‘s okay! No ones is better than the others the point is that you made it with love with a particular person in mind!!!! Honestly just the fact that people send a gift is to be commended!!! Do you know how many people just don‘t send anything to their match???? And @CSeydel you send fabulous gifts so don‘t be so hard on yourself! 😘😘😘 6y
BookaholicNatty @CSeydel when I get a chance I am going to print out the cross stitches I picked out that you gave me and post them on Litsy so you can see!!! Because of you I have 5 FABULOUS cross stitch book patterns!!!!! 6y
BookaholicNatty @vkois88 when it comes times to put my cross stitch in a frame I may need to get some advice/help from you!!! 6y
BookaholicNatty @vkois88 I have never done it myself I normally take it to a framer but that can get sooooooo expensive 6y
vkois88 I'd love to help!! If need be, you could always send it my way, and I'll help put something together for you as cheap and easy as possible. You could just pay me back and cover shipping? Framing is something I love doing, and I really enjoy seeing all the things that come in at work. I'm going to be working on another piece for a different friend soon and I already have the frame picked out 😂😂 it's also fun to make little pin tucks 6y
vkois88 @cseydel I didn't even see your comment before... don't ever feel bad! You did an awesome job, and I love what you helped your daughter with for me!! That's an incredible talent. You did a great job teaching her ❤❤ She's pretty cool for a 14 yr old. I hope I'm able to do the same with MY daughter. Just enjoy the swaps 😊 That's what they are about... 6y
CSeydel @vkois88 @BookaholicNatty I didn‘t mean my comment to be quite so “fishing for compliments” — but I‘ll take them 😆 Thanks and I‘m SO relieved the booksleeves turned out well and you like them! That was a first for both of us. We are still very casual amateurs when it comes to sewing. 6y
BookaholicNatty @CSeydel we love you! You weren‘t fishing! ❤️❤️😍 6y
CSeydel @vkois88 the “needle minder” idea is brilliant! I need to learn how to make those. I have poked my lip too many times holding the needle in my mouth like you‘re not supposed to 😂 6y
BookaholicNatty @CSeydel @vkois88 yessss or dropped it and then have to get on my hands and knees to find it before someone steps on it 6y
vkois88 @cseydel I second Natalie, not fishing at all!! And the book sleeves are perfect. I intend to start using them Sunday when I go back to work and carry my book(s) with me 😊 I can't sew at all, even using a machine, so I'm in definite awe!! Also, you and @BookaholicNatty would have no trouble making needleminders. SUPER easy. I got little magnets at work, picked theme related pins, trimmed the back off, and glued the magnets in place. 6y
vkois88 @cseydel you can't see in the pics, but I put the little crystals you can put in vases or fish bowls on the back so Natalie would have something to grip to pull them apart to take them off the fabric she's using 😊 6y
vkois88 @cseydel @BookaholicNatty I'm trying to decide if I want to make some to put in an Etsy shop... I'm just not sure if anyone would buy them! 6y

Pickpick

I thought overall this book was good but predictable (which doesn't come as a surprise for this genre). It spent quite a bit of time about dreams that people have, patience of trying to achieve them, and how some may not appreciate it. I thought that part was pretty good. It did have a lot more religion than some books in this genre. It does lists recipes at the end of some chapters.
