Anyone else have an issue with a character dying in childbirth after paying to enter the game?!?! What a waste!!!

I liked the story. It is neatly written and has an interesting story arch. I would like to get the other books. HOWEVER, it has no ending. It leaves you hanging and none of the lose ends are tied up. I don't like that at all and I think it will prevent me from buying other books in the series.

Good premise, very interesting; execution so-so. The story did hold my interest however, so I will keep reading! The second Book in The serie a is already on my kindle😊 I'd give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2
