I did not want this one to end! I love a good romance, these names tho!! Eb and Greer. Took me a few minutes to picture names with genders. Another great summer read. Summer is coming to an end, I wonder how many more summer romance novels I can squeeze in?

Sometimes the only solution to a dark and serious world is a book set at the beach. This has light and fluffy written all over it. The MCs are smart enough, but also hot messes in their emotional world. The movie set theme is fun, but perhaps not quite accurate. Still, it was nice to have a breezy break, that‘s for sure!

KathyWheeler I liked this one for the reasons you listed. In some of her books, the characters are not very likable— I couldn‘t finish Hissy Fit — but I liked the characters in this one fine. I know nothing about the movie industry so I had no clue whether the depiction of it was accurate or not. (edited) 7y

KathyWheeler @BarbaraTheBibliophage I liked Summer Rental and Spring Fever (although it was annoying in some ways). I also like this mystery series she writes; the main character is Callahan Garrity. 7y

I stayed up until 2 finishing this, so I must have liked it. Some of the movie making scenes dragged on, but overall it was a good summery read. Do you think it‘s really going to be a series?
