Watched the Netflix series first then I heard that the author allowed them to change a few things. Usually never watch then read but I did like the ending better on the series. Also loved the beach line dance at the beginning credits after episode one…watched it every time!

3.5⭐️ Found this to be a pretty good romance novel. I really liked the setting of PEI (been there and I would like to go back again) and the characters felt like they could have existed. #finished: I completed two books this past week and because I had finished a long book on the 5th, I felt like I had read way too much.

#currentlyreading: As I said above, I had read a lot over the course of over the week and a few days prior, that my brain just felt like mush and I didn't get much else worked on.

Due to the Thanksgiving long weekend here in Canada, my weekend is a little longer than usual. I am planning on hopefully getting to most of these during the next two days. #weekendreads

Love books which you can read in one day. This had all the features of what makes a good chick lit; love, angst, corniness with a healthy sprinkling of character development and independence. But what‘s better than the romance was the friendship dynamic between the main character and her best friend. Call me cliche but partners (guys) come and go but best friends are forever!

This is the second book this year where my name makes an appearance! I never see it in normal life!

Ok, I‘ll bump it up 1/2 a star. 😉
