It was really interesting, and sometimes emotional, to see the different situations that kept bringing the Hallorans back to Arboria Park. It made me think of all the reasons I go “back home”.

so-soArboria Park is a charming book about family, written in a way that takes us through not just the journey of a family. We see how society changes from the 1950's forward. It isn't just social issues and change, we also get a journey through the evolution of music. Through it all, the Halloran family learns family is more than blood and a home is more than a house.
