One year later, Jason Medina's trial for the rape and murder of his stepdaughter is cancelled after his suicide in the courthouse holding cell leaving a note with the word Tarttalo, a local legendary creature similar to a Cyclops. The case is far from over yet.

Even more intense, exciting, and intriguing than the first book.

Andrew65 These look good, thanks for putting on my radar. Have a good weekend of reading. 2y
rwmg @Andrew65 There are a lot of connections with the first book in the series, so I think you do need to read it first 2y

Loved this book, maybe even more than the first one. The plot is quicker as most characters were already introduced in the first book of the trilogy. Really well written, with descriptions that make me want to visit Baztan and a plot that had me reading for hours. I looked forward to my commute so i could carry on with the book!
