Mehso-so

This book was just so-so. Though there were a few interesting gems and ideas, the weirdly robotic voice of the narrator and the overwhelming set of tasks all which the reader is "supposed to make time for daily" i.e. 10 minutes to physically declutter, 15 minutes to meditate, 10 minutes to "just be", 10 minutes to evaluate your goals ALL DAILY seemed to just add more clutter to my already busy life! Just above a pan for me.

Chapter 20: Toxic Relationships: Letting Go of Certain People
When the fallout seems less daunting than staying put, it is time to move on.
1. Don't let your guilt, insecurity, or obligation talk you out of it.
2. Keep it short. Make it about your feelings, not their shortcomings.
3. Try to do it person to person if it is mentally healthy
4. Choose a support person to be there during or after for you.
5. Create a plan for a negative reaction.

Already mildly annoyed at the narrator's voice on this one. I've heard good things about this book so we shall see!
