This is the book that first got me hooked onto the Vorkosigan series, one of my all-time favourite sci-fi series. It's a later book but was fine as an entry point. Now I'm rereading the entire series for a third time, this time on audio during long car trips with my husband.

A great book with interesting characters. It is a very rare thing to have the point of view of a married woman with a child in Science Fiction and this one is masterly done.

Next in the Miles Vorkosigan series! I've a feeling this is the book where Miles finds the first woman who might actually say yes to him for the long term.

Some times, when the sys admin is training you to take over management of a server, you need to bury your nose in an old favorite during lunch.
