BarbaraTheBibliophage I read this for #clifi also. Not perfect, but definitely an interesting book. I may give the next in the series a go also! 2w

I wanted to like this, after all it's one if those classic sci-fi books that are often recomended, but I'm DNFing this after 46 pages. The two human characters are so outdatted and cliché, their dialogue was probably OK when the book was published, but nowadays there are better books to read.

The premise here was interesting, but its narrative was very much slice-of-life, which isn't my favorite narrative style, and very slow-paced. I consider it #genrebusting because it was literary slice-of-life and dystopian science fiction. #Booked2019 @Cinfhen @BarbaraTheBibliophage @4thhouseontheleft

BarbaraTheBibliophage Sounds like a good fit for the prompt. Sorry it wasn‘t a better book. 👊🏻📚♥️ 4mo
LeticiaToraci It was very well writen, so I would recommend it to anyone who likes character-driven dystopia which is not the "people walk through a wasted scenery" type. 4mo
