My Sister tells the story of Irini, who was given away by her parents at the age of three, whilst her volatile, destructive sister was kept within the family. Twenty years later Irini receives a phone call from her estranged sister to say that their mother has died, compelling her to return for the first time to the family home, and to uncover the shocking truth that has defined both their lives.

So I've been reading this for a while and I just got to 75% and I still don't really know where the story is headed. Normally I feel this would frustrate me but I am just so intrigued!!
Has anyone else read it?

I'm not sure how I feel about this one. It's billed as a thriller but not as suspenseful as I hoped. A large part of it reads as a twisted family saga with Irini trying to figure out her past and Elle manipulating everyone. I didn't really care for Irini's character, but I thought Elle was the perfect blend of crazy. The twist near the end is decent, but I didn't like the ending itself.

Estreia de autor. Uma leitura estranha.
De início temos uma ideia sobre a estrutura do livro, e depois ficamos baralhados. De repente percebemos que nada do que lemos é realmente como parece e que ninguém é o que diz ser. Os últimos capítulos são avassaladores e acabam por apresentar um final inacreditável. Se gostei? Não sei A verdade é que não sei mesmo, mas tive que ler os últimos capítulos de rajada.
