Pickpick

I finished Dial M it‘s a true crime about a local murder to me in the 60s. There‘s a pic of the house in the book & I was curious if it still looked the same & since it‘s right near the half price I was stopping by so I decided to drive by the house. It‘s really beautiful house. I wasn‘t familiar with the case prior reading the book so it was interesting to learn about. Specially since I know the area & knew all the places they were talking about.

Hhhjjjnsjehdhwjd Was it a whole other experience reading a true crime set in a location you‘re so familiar with? Did it make the story scarier? 3y
allureofbeauty @ilanakeukake it was a whole other experience I think. Knowing all the places they were talking about. But I don‘t think it made it scarier but that might be purely because this was a murder for hire scenario as opposed to something like a serial killer. 3y
Hhhjjjnsjehdhwjd @allureofbeauty Ah ok that makes sense. I‘d like to try reading a book where I know all the places one day. 📍 It would have to be a horror or a thriller though 3y
