The movies came out a few years apart, but this one reminded me a little of #standbyme in terms of kids out doing things they weren‘t supposed to be doing and encountering a dead body. #volumesandvocals

Much of what remains in my now 4th year into the John Grisham canon are his early works. I found this one vey compelling and Mark, old beyond his 11 years, stole my heart. I‘d love to read him now as man in his 40s. As I read I kept picture Susan Sarandon in the adaption of Reggie Love - yep, I got that right!

Both were books before becoming films. They both involve a person witnessing a crime.

I loved this book in middle school but haven't read it since. What am I in for, Littens?! #LazySunday #currentlyreading
John Grisham is one of the best writers and you have the phone and a time to kill but I honestly think this is the best book that he‘s done
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This book had me intrigued from page 1. Of course it is not the type of book that will change your life or that you will think of for years to come but it's a real quick read and keeps you guessing.
John Grisham never disappoints. He somehow makes the south likable, even to someone is who no big fan of slow southern drawls and fried pickles. His stories are intriguing and encapsulating. You really can't go wrong with one of his books.
