Still reading this book bit by bit. It is heavy but thought-provoking.

"Just as treating nature's bounty as a gift ensures the fertility of nature, so to treat the products of the imagination as gifts ensures the fertility of the imagination."

A bigger photo of Holiday #bookhaul is coming, but this is the only one I don't recognize. The person who gave it to me has never given me books on creativity, so I'm curious if anyone here has heard of it.

batsy I liked it a lot. A hard book to categorise but it's not a standard self-help book on creativity 🙂 Art not as a commodity but as a gift, using some interesting examples throughout history and various cultures. 6y

1. Any color is good
2. I like cats, chocolate , cozy things, music, pop culture
3. A Little Life - Hanya Yanagihara is the best book I've read in years.
4. Fiction, non-fiction, mysteries. I have an interest in fantasy and graphic novels. So many love them I'd be open to trying.
5. Romance, western
6. I got bit by a snake at a super bowl party. 😳

Zelma I'm echoing everyone else and loving the paper! 💕 7y
Louise Thank you! @Read4life @Nat_Reads @BookishMarginalia @Hooked_on_Books @moranadatter @Zelma The paper is made by Chronicle Books and comes in large book format with 12 paper designs and a page of matching sticker gift tags. The paper is called Literary Life and is available on Amazon and from Book Depository. Surely, you can find it elsewhere too. I'm on a bit of a wrapping paper kick at the moment and even watch wrapping videos on YouTube! 😂 (edited) 7y
Louise My exciting lesson this time was to use double-sided tape in these nifty dispensers so that no tape is visible on the outside of the packages. This is the sort of thing I get excited about these days. LOL! 😂 7y
carrceli I love it. I feel like I let my litten down! 7y
